THE AMCARE DIFFERENCE
Amcare is a Non-Profit organisation dedicated to the needs of all people made vulnerable due to poverty, HIV/AIDS, domestic violence and advanced age. Our service areas include the communities of Greater Alberton, Eden Park, Phola Park, Greenfields and Thokoza. The organisation is registered with the National Department of Social Development.
H20 Ministries
Alberton Methodist Church’s ministry house is a sanctuary (safe place) for those in need. When people have nowhere to turn, we give these individuals hope (housing) whilst they are getting back onto their feet.
These individuals are housed for a maximum of three (3) months and thereafter we open the doors to new individuals in need.
The ministry house is a connecting property to the church. It is a repurposed storage space, which we are in the process of converting into safe living spaces. The ministry house consists of six (6) rooms.
